Tuesdays with me sobbing in the corner

Maybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, and gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it. For Mitch Albom, that person was Morrie Schwartz, his college professor from nearly twenty years ago.

This book was hard for me...really really hard.
I spent the majority of this book like this...

I try really hard to stay away from books that make me cry. I hate to cry...I really really really hate to cry. I have avoided Mitch Albom books like the plague but this one is on my library's reading challenge so I had to read it...I had to do it...they made me do this...I didn't want to do this!

Even though my eyes are swollen and I am using my blanket as a tissue I did love this book.
We take life for granted everyday. Even when we know someone will die we try to push it out of our mind because it is hard and this book made you stop and address that.
I wish I would have read this sooner.
I wish I could go back and have Tuesdays with my loved ones that I have lost.
....and now I am sobbing again.
So I'll just leave the bird.
