Science on a mini scale! Experiments that are easy to make and fun for all.
Well, it is no secret that I love science.
I am 100% for anything that promotes science and helps children become interested in science. So this book is a total win for me.
I love the set up of this book. The first few chapters are all about setting up and making sure that you are doing things safely. It also talks about thinking critically. Which is awesome!
Then the experiments began. A super cute teeny volcano, tiny tornado, small submarine, an adorable little science lab, the water cycle in a bag, walking water drops, a mini ecosystem, a small race car, and a mini merry-go-round.
So some of my favorites.
The mini science lab is perfect for a pretend play center. I wish I would have thought of this when I was teaching pre-k. The kiddos would have loved this!
The miniature merry-go-round! I loved this...honestly, I know teenagers that would enjoy this one.
This book is super cute. I can see many kids checking it out at the library and getting inspired or even it being a great present for a science loving child. The experiments are not groundbreaking and, yes, these are also found on Pinterest but I think the accessibility of having these at hand with children make it relevant.
