I spent most of this book confused. I just had no clue what was happening but I knew it was creepy and good. People are starving, there are worms in a cake, some weird stuff happens, snakes in toilets (seriously this is one of my worst fears so now I am back to turning the light on again to pee at night...thanks for that), and those freaking trees keep getting closer. BUT, that ending! OMG, that ending. I just, well, you got me. I so didn't call this one. So good!
