I Never Figured out the Importance of the List

For years, best friends Sarah and Jennifer kept what they called the “Never List”: a list of actions to be avoided, for safety’s sake, at all costs. But one night, against their best instincts, they accept a cab ride with grave, everlasting consequences.




I heard about this book from one of the many book podcasts that I listen to. It sounded like the perfect amount of creepy and horrific to keep me interested. I loved the premise. Paranoid girls, extremely cautious but, in the end, it doesn't matter. Sounded perfect and, at first, it was.
At the beginning, I was all like this

but the further I delved into this story I became bored. I had figured out almost all of the so-called twists way before the end. That just made me sad.

I really wanted to love this book and while was creepy and totally messed up it just didn't live up to what I was expecting.
