What can a girl be when she grows up? Answer: ANYTHING SHE WANTS!
Isabella gives an awesome introduction to women in politics. This book is a book to start conversations with children. This is a book to get parents and children, or teachers and children looking at the important women of our past and looking toward the important women of our future. The story in this book isn't something that most children will understand alone, however, I don't feel that is a problem. I think the point of this book is to get children interested in women history and excited about the possibilities for women in the future.
The ending pages explain each important woman mentioned and it even includes quotes.
I really really love this book and I will be searching for more Isabella books in the future!
