Everyone on campus has a different version of what happened that night. Haley saw Jenny return from the party, shell-shocked. Richard heard Jordan brag about the cute freshman he hooked up with. This was a difficult read.
It wasn't so much the subject matter...but that is difficult too. I found it hard to keep the events straight. Honestly, this book felt drunk and maybe that was the point. I'm not sure on that but I felt swirly.
I enjoyed the fact that we don't know what is the truth from the beginning. I think that really helped hook me on the story. I don't think this was a perfect book but it was good. I couldn't put it down and it delivered at the end...well for me it did,
I don't think this is a groundbreaking book but I think this is a wonderful start to get you thinking about this subject.
