Honestly, I haven't found a book by Sarah Addison Allen that I didn't like. I remember finding the book The Sugar Queen in a discount bin years ago. I read it in one sitting and then immediately read it again. Now, that worn book is sitting lovingly on my favorites shelf. That was my first experience into Sarah Addison Allen's world and I am so glad I found my way there.
So, First Frost drops us back into the lives of the Waverley sisters. Claire is on a mission to make candies, Sydney is feeling off kilter, and Bay is coming into her own ability and trying to get what feels right to fit right.
I loved this. It was comfortable to slide right back in with these characters and become entangled with all the ups and down that go with it.
